really? that also happend to me, where i said i found a character "cute and smug" and got bombarded whit dislikes

Just stop bothering with comment downvotes.
It does sometimes feel that there are people around that like to pretend (or maybe the do believe) that small talk is beneath them.
Many attempts at starting small talk or a topic under a picture are downvoted, even when they are completely related to the image.

Thanks, now I am much more relaxed about my comments on some pictures "photos" of my favourite girls.
