...What does this have to do with pedos? Nothing in the description, including the original tweet, references pedos or anything to do with them.
The image features the 😭 emoji, which is associated with lolis/lolicons, which I think should have been clear enough from the wiki you were directed to. For additional information, Baraag is the site most lolicon artists end up on because it doesn't police loli/shota art. The other user was implying that lolicons are pedos.

That level of density has to be on purpose, right? If "Child erotic" and "Child's belly and chest erotic" (while being forgiven for machine translation's misplacing of words) doesn't relate to "pedo" for you, that's something to worry about.

Yeah that part was completely clear. The part I don't get, however, is what that has to do with pedos.

Of course. However, it is also a case of myself giving the benefit of the doubt. Surely they're not so dumb that they equate drawings with the real thing, right? I mean; everyone knows that gunning people down in GTA is fundamentally incomparable with actual violence... right?

Benefit of the doubt. I highly doubt those were 1:1 the meaning of the words used. I assume that even if the actual word for "child" was used, it was in reference to lolis. I have no reason to believe Dorontabi is a pedo, and even if they were, the meme is used for lolis.

My view is the opposite. If you look at a drawing of a fictional character, and you're first thought is "this is a real child", "this is 100% the exact same as a real child" or any variation of similar thoughts then you should see a doctor.
Distinguishing reality from fiction is a very basic concept and skill we learn as children. It's akin to Object Permanence in that regard. So to me, when I see people equate lolicons to pedos, that tells me that they have somehow not learned this concept.
I would rather attribute things to ignorance, rather than malice. At least, at first.
