I get what they're trying to do, but I genuinely don't think the people scraping art en masse care even slightly about these messages. All it really does, IMO, is ruin the image by being incredibly distracting.

A problem with classifying "obtrusiveness" is that some people (figuratively or literally) lose their shit at even a tiny weibo watermark on a gigantic pic, and others don't mind unless it literally covers the entire image multiple times over. It just varies a lot.
