Whether the redesign is better or not might be ...subjective... but after learning she is in the same faction as Hatakaze Meta (ie an antagonist in the story) and that she basically gets a debuff if she sorties with Japanese ships I'm even more disappointed by it

She gets buffed with sakura empire and buffs them as well
