An example of actual bad anatomy is the top right character in post #2580248. This is deliberate stylization, consistent an coherent within its own framework just like the facial anatomy of bishoujo characters. Intent absolutely matters because the entire basis of visual art is intentionality. You simply find the intent and its results to be distasteful.

I mean, you could take this all the way and simply flag all anime art as bad anatomy as human faces do not look like that. You have to draw the line somewhere, the bickering is just where exactly is the line. Raita just requires you to push the line farther back than other artists, but as you can tell, he still has a number of fans who do like the hyper stylized bodies he draws.

And notice it's only ever with his female characters, never the guys. Buncha hypocrites, the lot of em, Raita's a god tier artist, and Raikou is peak.
What even is the bad anatomy here? I've seen Raita's work, and yeah they do get pretty whacky with anatomy at times, but this one in particular is pretty tame. What's the issue?

Several times in the past, images have been flagged for having bad anatomy specifically just because the girl in the picture had breasts bigger than their head, apparently oblivious to the fact the gigantic breasts tag exists. It's pathetic.

Not that it matters anymore, but gigantic breasts also used to be the line after which things were considered grotesque proportions and violated one of the older upload rules.

Yeah. It's getting more and more terrible as time passes, with a noticeable uptick in the last few years. The problem is already well known in all levels of Danbooru management, everywhere from long time contributors like myself, to moderators and admins. It's unfortunately a deeply rooted problem that isn't easily to fix.
So while a long term roadmap is being planned out, for now we'll just need learn to live with people that bump months old discussions for no reason whatsoever.
