It's a bit weird, but they're just fried potatoes in the end, nothing too crazy. At least it's not something really weird like bananas.... Sweden...

As an American I believe that there’s only one place where fries belong - inside a big-ass burrito.

But I’d try the French fry pizza.

Honestly, I do believe that does combine better with Pizza than pineapple does, though it's mostly kids who eat this kind of Pizza in italy. There's also another kind of Pizza that's made with potatoes.

Pineapple is sweet and helps to contrast the savory, that is literally every other part of pizza.

Funny thing, they call it pizza americana or also baby pizza, and, together with the fries on it they will also put sliced wiener pieces
