Nidoran have a rare mutation that produces both male and female varieties, male Nidoran are way more reckless and curious than females, but they're also very loyal and will protect their partner (be it a human or Nidoran female) their entire lives!

I won't lie. I'm a bit disappointed that the "male" Nido line are actually male despite Tauros being females in this universe.
But I guess if any Pokemon was going to stay male it was going to be Nidoran MALE.

It’s because it is a Pokemon that has a specific variant for females and males that branch out to different Pokemon

On the bright side When he gets to Hoenn we'll be seeing alot more Male Musu guven Gen 3 furthur expanded on the male female Evos

Gen 4, actually; Gallade wasn’t in Gen 3. Plus, Gen 4 has Mothim, who everyone collectively forgot about until this moment.
