Is this emblem a symbol of Wutai? Or is it rather a symbol of the provisional government, Yuffie's unit, or her own personal emblem? It's a crescent moon and a swallow. In any case, it's a a nice design. Perhaps its identity will be revealed in the third part. If we don't see it anywhere in Wutai, we'll know it's her personal emblem.Her mysterious hair ornament has a length that extends down to about her chest level. I think it served to give even her short hair ninja-like movement in the low-poly original version.
