Wasn't Serie (and to extension Flamme) a terrible cook?
Frieren was a terrible cook, (Though she did manage to improve to the point where she could cook pretty good steaks) Nothing is said about Flamme on the topic of cooking.

I remember it better now. It's from some omake, Frieren used a cookbook that she got from Flamme. Flamme in turn, got that cookbook from Serie. The recipes entailed that were horrifying. May or may not be canon so might as well just leave it there.
