I have seen some games use ヴ (the 'u' katakana but with " diacritic marks) to signify a 'v', which helps get more accurate pronunciations for Western words. It is kind of funny to see one of the Chi-Hatan girls actually use a foreign phrase without a second thought!

I initially thought so as well, but I can't recall Hosomi ever having an bad reaction to foreign words or avoidance of use either, unlike Tamada, Fukuda, and Kinuyo. So perhaps she's the normal one amongst all of the abnormal Chi-Hatans?
