I started watching dragon ball ever since i was a kid, and to this very day i've been a fan, safe to say... this hurts a lot, rest in peace Akira Toriyama, everything you've done will never be forgotten.
A goddamn legend, Akira Toriyama was. Dragon Ball, Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, man left his mark on some of the most iconic pieces of media ever. Rest in peace.
I took a moment to check the age Akira Toriyama had before leaving this world.
He was only 68 years old. The worst part, he died due to a subdural hematoma. It's a tragic dead not only because we lost a legend, but because he left this world suffering, and not in peace. If we, his fans, felt pain after his decease, I can only imagine the grief and pain his family and friends have passed.
We can't even use the Dragon Balls, since they don't work if the person dies of natural causes.
I had always worried about how the series would go on when Masako Nozawa, Goku's VA, passed away, since she's already getting very old, approaching 90. Never once did I even consider the possibility of Toriyama passing. A huge loss. It hurts.
