Well, Remilia is supposed to be a "light eater" that doesn't actually kill those she feeds on. Though it doesn't include other reasons, and does still put Sanae's count into question.

I feel I saw this before somewhere... It's not a kill count at all that is the how many people they fucked. The hint even points when reading what Reisen said shows that.

Yeah, it's been done before. It's just that it being a sex counter like @angrybull said is so relatively common that you end up expecting it to be something else because it's been done so much before.
I mean it being a kill counter would make sense what with the mountain of skulls Ibaraki Douji's arm summons.
Would be a completely valid interpretation if not for both Remilia killing 0 humans and Sanae racking up 100+ kills. Like even if Remilia is a light eater, there's no way a 500 year old vampire hasn't killed a single human yet. And presuming Sanae to be like at most 20 years old and not murdering while outside Gensokyo, she would have to be killing left and right to get that many kills. It just feels like a logical contradiction to me

There is also Flandre. She only had a "couple" so it is obviously a sex count not a kill count.
