Doesn't apply to the rest of the world obviously but Japanese people don't draw white people, they draw Japanese people. Dark skinned characters are also usually Japanese people, and when they do actually draw a black person, I can assure you they aren't doing it for representation/self-inserting, they're doing it for fetishes.

That's because they're used more or less as just a foreign gyaruo in hentai media, which is another group you'll mostly see in NTR.
NTR doesn't necessarily have to suck though, but for its niche market the emotion the customers want the most is the despair of the weak man losing their significant other. While it is possible to have a deadbeat husband despair as his wife is taken away by a manlier and more caring guy, it likely doesn't appeal as much to the larger niche base and becomes a niche within a niche. An NTR of a loving and caring big black guy taking away the wife of a deadbeat husband wasn't on my bingo card, but it does exist.
