Honestly I don't see the issue with Aethecchino (or whatever the ship name is).
People in this community have shipped the twins with anyone and everyone regardless of age, gender, and relationship status. Even with each other.
I'll admit, there's a few ships I don't like because I fail to see the chemistry of it, but that doesn't mean I have to harass artist/poster over it. If it's good art and not a gender/racial slur, just acknowledge that's it's good art.

It is sad how the hypocrisy of others prevents us from enjoying the simplest things.

Yeah, because Heaven forbids characters change over time, or show a new side of them you didn't know before, or even worse, Heaven forbids that an artist, who put time and effort into learning how to draw, be allowed to draw what he fucking loves. Artists should be forced at gunpoints to only draw what other people love, and for free!

When it's some rando on Twitter making harmless fanart? Absolutely. Blackwashing is only a problem when done by corporations to pander to an audience that is never going to give them any money. An artist giving characters dark skin in their own free time is entirely benign.
While I don't agree with Shibi's unnecessary hostility towards this art entirely because it doesn't appeal to them, and some of their comments here feel like they're going out of their way to kick a beehive, you're in no position to be throwing stones from inside that glass house of yours.
