This is not the art of her shown off on the livestream. This is a screencap taken from the livestream and you can see a number of differences. The official has no blush on the face, the eyelashes are colored black instead of Asanagi's characteristic white you see above, the pupil of the eye is dark instead of light, the skindentation on the thighs doesn't bulge out as sharply, there's no cutout on the outfit's navel, there's no detailing on the collar, she doesn't have the rope anklet, she's not wearing a hairpin, the ribbons on the chest aren't yellow and the ones on the sleeves aren't red.

I'm of the impression this may be official art in the sense it's been commissioned by Yostar for the game, but this isn't the official CG shown off on stream. Unless the one shown on stream was earlier concept art and this is what makes it into the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that disqualifies it for the Official Artist Extras pool.

If this is what makes it into the game, then this is official art and not Official Artist Extras, if it isn't what ends up in game, then it's the reverse. It can't be both, though.

I just think tagging it as such is a little premature, and if it turns out vvvppp up there is right, I doubt the conclusions county long-jump team is going to come back and apologize.

It was more then likely redrawn since China is really really anit-porn and Asanagi, even on the best days is really good at imbuing art with amazing levels of horny.

a bit sad that this isn't the final design used as this one looks way more intricate in terms of clothing and such. though of course the man gonna give his namesake boatgirl punching bag a white tie up bikini as the swimsuit skin. hope she have an actual punching bag merch just like bache too.

I guess it's to make it similar to other arts that already in the game.
Giving it more light and more simplicity so it doesn't differ much from other character in the game give a sense of uniform.
Idk how to say it properly, but in my opinion it gives you the feels that you're playing Azur Lane.
