The uniform looks badass like trenchcoats to people in that part of the world. Cosplayers or artists aren’t often knowledgeable or supportive of Hitlerism.

Many war criminals including plenty of SS members got off easy with mere slaps on the wrist. The CIA and others protected numerous war criminals (much like how the British protected several Italian genocide perpetrators such Graziani and Badoglio) and many SS and other Third Reich war criminals would dominate the politics and military of West Germany for several decades to come (especially during Adenauer’s rule). Some would even get prominent roles in NATO.

The stench of lies floods this place. You state the truth, but they are blinded, how could their precious NATO be so bad? They can't accept that it is not and has never been a peaceful or defensive organization, it has always been just another terrorist pact. Keep going, brother. Soon enough they will have no choice but to accept their exceptionalism will lead nowhere.
