Here's my entry for mashin auto salon - Vemac RD181! A reimagination of a cult classic sports car that maybe not a lot of people know about.

This one is a little bit personal - i am kinda addicted with this car for years now, i don't know but there's something that just i like from the car, like i never seen a car such raw and cool looking car. I used to draw the car a lot that makes me got introduced by a lot of great people including the owner of the car itself.

I think personally what makes Vemac a special car to me is how do they just trying to be themself by having such a simplistic design yet having some parts that really distinctive, pretty much like a Japanese take on lotuses. So i decided not to change much from the old car except for fitting it with modern tech such as 3 cylinder turbo engines and pushrod suspensions. Personal choice, i guess?

The only controversial thing that i decided to add is probably those rotiform wheels - basically the whole build was like a last hurrah for millennium era cars so i think it would be cool if i implement something that had circular shape on it. So instantly - three spokes. But honestly, it makes it looks so cool lmao

But anyway, really happy i made it. Real life too, someday? lol
