No, that's not how breasts work. The text mentioned that the machine separates the tissue at fascia level, which means it should separate the mass of fat and glands that is your breasts, not to mention pectoralis major muscles doesn't have that much bulge.

Quick question about this, since I'm not well versed in anatomy, but aren't there two layers of fascia on the breasts, one above and one below? Wouldn't the artist be referring to the outer layer which surrounds the fat and glands, rather than the inner layer above the pectorals? Whether it's possible to cut that layer finely enough that the breasts retain their shape, I'm not sure, but it does exist. Plus, is that really enough to tag this as bad anatomy?

See, that's the problem. The artist specifically mentioned fascia between the 'skin and muscle' and not the 'skin and breast tissue' (Camper's fascia) nor 'subcutaneous skin'. Even if the artist meant the last one (separating the skin into dermis and epidermis, which will produce something like pinkish ball of thin skin around yellowish breast fat) the shading and striation on this page makes it looks like muscle. I won't go into missing nipple ducts and other things, since it was probably censored deliberately.

We'll probably have to wait until the colored version goes up for sale. As seen in the "cut in half" pics, the artist actually draws the yellow fat and the texture for muscles and various organs correctly.
