What is the internal anatomy like I wonder? Human organs would not be sufficent to keep a body that size working, so its safe to assume they are Horse sized and in the lower body. Using that logic, what would be inside the upper torso if not vital organs?

People have been arguing about centaur anatomy for roughly forever. I am currently intrigued by the concept of some vital organs being in the humanoid torso and some being in the horse torso, with those in the humanoid torso enlarged to fill the space that the ones below don't occupy. Alternately, the humanoid torso could be more like a horse's neck — mostly muscle, with little else besides trachea, esophagus and spine. That latter probably makes more sense, or else they might not be able to run without snapping their upper spine.

Hot take: The humanoid torso contains one giant heart. Rest of the organs are contained in the horse part.
