The more dangerous Fairy Pranks are likely because canonically "Gensokyo Humans natives(or naturalized ones)are somehow Stronger/Sturdier than Average Humans(Outside World)" and are directed to certain ones(e.g. Reimu Hakurei and the Hakurei Shrine Maidens) who are even more so while still remaining Humans .... differently from "Hermit Saint Shikaisen(Taoist)" (e.g. Toyosatomimi no Miko and the majority of fellows belonging to the Dream Spirit Mausoleum).
