I think that @RaphLol meant to say that they're misgendering her, something that's a big no-no if you want to show basic respect to trans people.
It wasn't even the illustrators fault as Gots522 rely on a translators (Twitter) and they translated it as boy. To be more specific they probably translated「男の娘」("Otokonoko"), which translates to to "male daughter" with these kanji and is generally not used in a derogatory way but rather in a way to neutrally label gender non conformers (including cross dressers), but when spoken Otokonoko can also be interpreted like this「男の子」, which means "young man/boy". That's probably where the translation error comes from. From there the translators probably used He/Him pronounce because of the initial mistake.

PS. @punished_K Calling a trans woman a femboy can also be considered very offensive, as it implies that they're a feminine man rather than a woman. Some trans women take it in strides as it implies that they pass to a certain extent or perhaps because they like the label. (I know you didn't say that she was a femboy but "femboy lovers" heavily imply that you mean that she's a femboy)

Yeah I might have worded it badly; what I mean is Bridget's fans will declare she's a femboy forever, even when she (and her creator) confirm that she sees herself as a woman.
