Hololive should probably be careful about taking on more talents with an existing side hustle because they will eventually be forced to prioritize and their Cover career may need to take a backseat. Good on Calli, Kiara and Ina for persevering nonetheless but having a full-time content creator like Gura is probably the safest way to go long term.

idk, it depends. For all we know they aren't making a fuzz about others like Haachama or Ayame being unable to stream as often as the others. Even for Sana, since it was her own decision to leave, COVER probably didn't mind how she handled her schedule.

Talents with existing side hustles may or may not be able to provide consistent streaming contents, but the one big advantage they have is that they often have a much more stacked resume to show. I mean wasn't one of the most major reason Gura is the #1 subbed Holomem is exactly because she had such a huge past identity?

Sana almost definitely didn't leave because her 'other career' was too intense. She still streams occasionally under her artist name, possibly more frequently than she did as Sana.

What evidence we do have points to her leaving mostly because of her back injury, which would prevent her from doing major physical activities like the big 3D events. Combine that with her (comparative) lack of success, probably a fair bit of hearing a lot of discouraging feedback because of the fact she was the least successful, AND the fact she couldn't stream some of her favorite games in Hololive (including ones she's made characters and official artwork for), and it makes sense she'd come to the conclusion that Hololive wasn't the best option for her.

Forget physical activity, she couldn't even sit for long periods of time. Her streams were just getting shorter and shorter, and she still had to work on her art career. Without that injury, all of those other factors may not have meant anything to her, but struggling to even manage the bare minimum for two separate jobs likely proved unfeasible, and I'd imaginine unsatisfying with how hardworking she was. If she wasn't already a successful artist, she probably wouldn't have graduated, and without such a debilitating injury, I doubt she would've felt inclined to choose one over the other.

It's just a sad case of someone getting screwed over by life, and having to make what was probably a very difficult decision, especially so close to the one year anniversay.
