Don't quote me on this as I could be going off bad sources, but it seems the whole Bridget = Trans bit is in English only. In Japanese he still seems to use male pronouns and still correct other characters when they mistake his gender. EDIT: Apparently the source was bad.
But again, could be too early to say definitively.
Regardless, him being trans though would not just be character assassination of the highest order, it would actually have some rather uncomfortable undertones and reinforce some rather nasty stereotypes.

Mind the fact that in Bridget's lore, he was forced to become a girl by his parents and his own village due to a superstition because of same sex twins. So his brother gets to be normal, but Bridget can't?

Not sure where that rumor came from but Bridget says the same thing in jp. so it's not a case of localizers taking liberties or being "woke" but just a case of Bridget coming out as a girl now.

What it brings up is the portrayal of that being trans is not something you are born with, but is taught which brings up that whole transphobic idea of grooming. Ever heard of the tragedy of David Reimer and the whole issue of trying to apply a gender role to a child. Arc Sys just basically gave a loaded gun to anti lgtb people. They could have gone the proper way and simply have Bridget as a guy who simply likes female clothing, being non gender confirmative that way but instead they went the easy route trying to go for some easy brownie points, not thinking about what kind of quagmire they ended up creating.
EDIT: And speaking more personally, to me, this just robs a character of a distinct trait that with the wacky nature of GG and turns them into just a generic girl with nothing standout about them. No I do not define trans as a distinct trait, if they are a trans girl, then I see them as just a girl, nothing more.

In Japanese, Bridget uses "uchi" when they refer to themselves. Anyway, I found the scene in question from the Japanese version here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTi5vHJVs6Y The line in the end is the same in English in which Bridget is fine being a girl now.

Unless the character also magically switched genitals when he changed pronouns, then no, it's still 1boy as far as we're concerned and current policy goes.
Bridget was always happy having been raised as a girl, so it's probably that by sheer coincidence Bridget was born into a condition she was more comfortable with before realizing it. So I don't think it's necessarily a problem
Anyway, Danbooru's tagging system might not be the best for things like this unless you can convince the admins to make some changes

If no genitals are shown then the 1girl tag should still apply

Not unless you're also going to start tagging astolfo (fate), hacka doll 3 etc as 1girl whenever there's no dick. If you want to change the current policy you need to open a topic about it and consensus has to be reached by the community, because this is a discussion that has come up many times before and which affects a lot of characters.

That's a pretty piss poor comparison since neither of those characters see themselves as women.
Edit: just gonna add that the only reason we tag those 2 as men is because we know that those two identify as male otherwise we'd be using the tag what you see rule

I really wouldn't worry about that. If someone is so unhinged that they'd justify their position by citing a fictional character's biography, then there's no use in being careful what you say around them, because they're clearly too detached from reality to be reasoned with.

We can come up with all the arguments we want but at the end of the day the tags on this site exist to search, not to categorize. If someone searches for 1boy crossdressing and doesn't find this picture, but someone who is searching for 1girl ass does, then the tagging system is a joke, because neither of those users will be happy about what they see.

If that was the case then why did we stop tagging testament as 1boy? The simple fact of the matter is that the tag system is a constantly changing system and updates when new information is present. I'm not advocating for the complete changing the tags but strive Bridget should at least get the 1girl tag if there is nothing else pointing to their physical sex
The entire point of Bridget's storyline in X was he was trying to become more masculine.
And she ultimately succeeded at that. It's also been, in-universe, like 6 years since we last saw her. Succeeding in proving her masculinity didn't prove to be the key for her.

Why should the former be expecting to find this picture and the latter not be expecting to find this picture, other than believing Bridget is not a girl?

''He''? Damn even the admins are transphobic what a shame.
Saying the truth about the admin is being uncivil apparently?
I don't know why you have to use very drastic words in this case. That's not really helping moving such conversations forward when one site shuts down by writing at the other site.

Saying that the admin in question is a transphobe is drastic?
"Only genitals matter" is literally the core talking point of transphobics. What else would you call it?
Except our core talking point about Bridget is that Gaming Journalists confligrated their bad and good ending to mean the same thing. Which they don't.

Strive doesn't have "bad" endings. There are normal and extra endings and speaking of Bridgets ending her extra ending doesn't contradict her normal ending

Normal ending: Bridget breaks down and accepts the superstition of his home village, and ends it was an Otoko no Ko joke. Perfect ending: Bridget is going to find his own happiness and live accepting his true self, which is a boy not a superficial girl. Those are the definition of contradiction.

The saddest part is that you probably believe this bullshit which you know you made up yourself.

I'm surprised you even have the confidence to keep talking, after revealing you aren't even knowledgeable of basic GG lore. And after all that "canon" this and "non canon" that you kept going on about. Even your descriptions of the endings is blatantly wrong. Anyone who believes anything you say at this point is an idiot.
I made up myself? There have been several people saying thr same thing as me. The Japanese script even does too.
You know what, are you gonna provide actual proof? You mentioned before the JP text having a Mars symbol, and if true that would be a pretty important detail, but you're the first person I've seen even mention this, and haven't been able to find any evidence of it.
So, if you're gonna keep making shit up, how about you provide some links. Preferably ones that don't lead to 4chan, we've already gotten one thing from them that was obviously falsified.
Very reluctant to set foot anywhere near this, but wouldn't the standard be a stream/ recording of someone getting the endings in question? That should settle things one way or the other, I would think.

A video of the endings in English has already been posted like a dozen times, but no one insisting the JP dialogue/text is different has bothered to provide anything physical to back it up, at least nothing that wasn't doctored.
I already tried looking stuff up myself, and at this point if people are gonna keep making claims, they should have something to support it instead of just repeating the same things ad nauseum with no proof.
Wouldn't it be more correct to say that if Bridget were to make a declaration that she'd rather be a boy be closer to being transgender? The character was originally raised to be girl-like and only wanted to be seen as a boy in order to defeat a local superstition. The desire to return to being regarded the way one was raised feels more like de-transitioning. Moreover, from the perspective of trans being a defiance of societal norms, the society of her village from back in the day was fine with "Bridget-girl" existing but would not have felt the same way towards "Bridget-boy", and it doesn't feel like anyone from the village would care either way anymore.
