Half-bang has spent a lot of cookies to buy all that popcorn, and Star has spent a lot of them to disrupt the scheme (although I guess she is the one behind cookie emission control so she has an endless supply). That means that basically everybody else has ended up with a lot of cookies now, and cookie inflation is imminent...
