I lean more towards a "I don't care about my past, I want to be with you" type of thing. I'd need to see what was actually in the pay-only prequel thing to make concrete judgments, but from what snippet was shared before, she probably hated/was fearful of humans, sticking to elves, while now, she'll be basically completely alienated from elves and only fit in with Kusuriuri-san and his village.
