I think it's more she failed her home dimension as its own twin tailed hero and is having some sort of breakdown after getting a reminder of it.

Those are pictures of her in the background after all.

I kinda wish they’d put a little more focus on how she’s pretty much the only person left from her world. That has to have left her with some kind of trauma, and it would give the show an opportunity for some heartwarming moments when the others help her work through it.
