Because Coco retires after West Taiwan pressured Hololive so the other idols won't be affected. Yagoo promised that COVER would protect the idols and let them expand their wings in freedom, COVERing them from things like this, and yet Coco retiring still happening.

Pretty sure she left not because of the Taiwan thing but because she felt her creativity was being stifled being under an agency vs being independent. Doubt her Collab with Melody would've ever happened had she still been under holo.
