So in the game, when your girl fails their training session, you get two choices. First choice just makes your girl get a mood down and minus some stats. Second choice is a gamble: Either your girl gets a mood down, loses some stats, and also gets a negative condition (slightly higher chance to fail at training), or she gets a positive condition (slightly higher chance to succeed at training).

Here, Nature has gotten the positive condition lol.

I'm trying to guess what those two choices mean. I think the trainer (us) is trying to either comfort the uma or motivate her to do her best next time

The two choices are pretty much always a variation of this:

The uma says something like "Even if I got injured I can still go on."

First choice: Trainer tells the uma to rest, she does (mood down/loses a bit of stats).

Second choice: Trainer says that if the uma really wants to go on, she can. Then RNG kicks in. Either the uma tries to keep training but it doesn't work out (mood down, loses stats, gets the "bad at practice" condition) or she actually does pull through and is fine (gets the "good at practice" buff).
