I think it is a little different. From what I understand, she only gets that powerful against the one who kills her, out of anger and grief. As she was killed by the doll's spirit, she has a bonus against it. Nonetheless, the doll is fucked.

It just means she suddenly gets a massive boost to just make sure she kills her target or whoever killed her if they managed to get away.
