Given that, from what I've read, Rei reacted negatively to GFL players asking her if she had drawn the art after the teaser dropped, and ranting about how they're spamming her inbox, it's quite possible that it is not, in fact, Rei. By the same metric, Silverwing's been eliminated after having a similar reaction to folks asking them if they did the art, despite previously having said that they didn't want to take on Rei's dolls.

Yeah that is what I figured. They got the colouring and shading almost right but the face and the eyes are defeinitely wrong and the fashion is definitely not what Rei would do.

Best to just wait 2 days since the MOD3 batch hits on the 21st, if its drawn by somebody else, her MOD3 index entry should include it. Personally I think it is Rei, but I could still be wrong.

Really could go either way! If it isn't Rei, it's going to be interesting finding out who decided to pick up Ribey and try to tackle Rei's style. If it is someone who we don't have a tag for, hopefully their socials can be found quickly so that we can make 'em an artist entry.

While she didn't seem to have given a clear "yes" on the matter, Rei's rant is essentially "Yes, it's my work. And what about it?! Can't I finish up the commission that I took on?!"
Unless I read her wrong, she was annoyed that people simply can't believe that she would be accommodating/responsible enough to pick up where she left off. Not surprising, considering her difficult character, the fallout with Sunburst and the company's current trend of not bending to the "deserters" for new work.
Of course, it would still be best to wait for confirmation ingame like what Hellsycthe42 suggests :)
