i think it's an inside joke. I don't have her so don't know what kind of reference this is indicating.
She's a mad scientist. When weird stuff happens (in a doujin, usually) one can usually blame her.
And Tachyon looking at the glasses right now as though she's appreciating her work. With Cafe and Shakur having sweatdrops as though they know Tachyon is involved somehow.
