Judging from the bowl Hookbang is putting the other mantises in, I'm guessing they want to keep them intact.

Oh, I guess that makes senses... (I thought that they’re trying to get rid of the mantis while Hookbang was just trying to capture them for herself... though, I would wish that she could kept at least one of them as another of her pets...)

Hook is just some sort of animal/insect whisperer, I tell you. Like beside from the swan which everyone dread, nothing has fazed/dislike her so far.
