Holy shit I never even realized the red tinted glasses are to "hide" her eye color.
Man Loremaster would be a wonderfully dark character if Helltaker actually took itself seriously.
The irony is that she doesn't even need them: there are a couple of illustrations in the game that show here eyes behind her glasses, and they are already red because... you know, she's already a full demon. I wouldn't be surprised if she banned the use of mirrors from hell to avoid looking at herself too closely.

Judging from how she acts, she probably needed them at 'some' point, but she's been doing it for so long (and she's in denial) so she straight up never noticed that she doesn't actually need them anymore.

She needs them for "plausible deniability" - "My eyes aren't really red, they just look red through the goggles!"
