Her character card earlier had her with distinct claws that were way bigger, while these are bent in an entirely different way. It looks like a hand unit that has been modified with telescoping double jointed fingers and enlarged wrists so they can adapt to uneven terrain and be used as feet more effectively.
That's actually a really clever detail that strengthens her design as a monster with lurching balance and great speed. If you had to run on your arms forever, you'd really want some of those.
The Teke-Teke is a Japanese urban legend monster that is described as a human torso missing it's lower half, that runs about at high speeds on its hands with elongated finger nails clattering against the ground making it's distinctive "Teke Teke" sound. The Urban Legend goes, that if it finds a person it will chase them and cut them in half with either its nails or a sickle it carries and people killed in such ways will become Teke-Tekes themselves. There are no known ways to counter this monster and only evading it can lead to survival.
