It won't be if they're owned by a Chinese company and strictly stays in China for the Chinese base.

It's the same with real life celebrities, how currently Hong Kong stars like Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen, or hell, Disney company itself drew rage from people outside of China because any types of companies just aren't allowed to be apolitical anymore if they want to tap into that sweet Chinese market.

Like all authoritarians, CCP demands non-stop praises from everywhere to keep their people distracted 24/7 wise they find out how terrible they truly are.
