There wouldn't be any marine life in the lake either, given that "marine" specifically refers to the ocean, although that does make me wonder if there's such a thing as sashimi made from freshwater fish. I've heard of it made from land animals, come to that, so I don't see why there couldn't be.

Anyway, they can't fish in the lake, it would attract the giant catfish.

Thing is Freshwater Fishes can’t be eaten raw as they got a lot more chance to have parasites and can’t get rid of them without making them cooked, while saltwater one such as salmon’s only problem to eat raw is the germ that can be get ridden off by freezing for while
