It is canon now, well, the original image is at least. Google "Fall Guys Skeleton twitter" Should be the first link. The devs have made it canon.
No, the point he said is the dev artist were the one who drew this and said "maybe it's canon or maybe we're just messing around, you decide".
...The reason why I was saying to use the search term is because Danbooru prefers to have the link in nice highlighted text rather than raw url and I was running out of time and couldn't be bothered to check how to make the url look nice. And you clearly didn't search it.
