English huh? I hope them the best of luck. While the Japanese might be terrible when it comes to idoru stuff, the west is even worst. Not to mention the fandom will be very much lower and much, much more judgemental.

Personally, I am disgusted by the fact that they are pandering to the English speakers at all cause I despise “Utubers” or whatever the fuck they’re called, cause they attract the worse in humanity, as well as a bunch of other stuff but...well, that is just me.

Hopefully nothing terrible would happen to any of them, and even if there is, they would be able to power on through.
I’m still pretty sore about what happen to that one girl, after all.

You can make your own theories about who a Vtuber is in your own circle, but hounding them directly about their identity is a massive no-no. (Unless they're like Inuyama Tamaki who have publicly identified themselves, but then at this point there's nothing to ask)

If you're wrong, you're bothering two different people. If you're right, you're disrespecting their privacy.

Vtubers stream with avatars and personas for various reasons, and the best that viewers should do is to respect them.

Came here after being reminded of the layout on HoloEN's recent drawing stream collab, and Keo's comment above really aged like sour milk: Not only is HoloEN massively successful both subscriber count-wise and financially, but they're also individually very, very good, and with a fanbase that's very accepting of EN.

Well, I'm not one to really enjoy going back and looking at the stupid things I wrote or said most of the time (or care) but I'll be damned if I don't admit that I was being a...well...a piece of shit really and admit that I was both hasty and wrong in my judgement. I'm not deleting it cause that would just be cowardly to try and hide what stupid things I said (that and it'll still show deleted anyway due to recent changes) but I will say that I'm more glad that I am wrong and more than anything that HoloEN was a huge success and that how much it has helped the rest of the Hololive as a whole, which does makes me happy that's for sure. It has also changed a bit of my worldview, just a bit, about being a little more positive to certain things (although not the first time. Kancolle has a very special place in my heart for reasons similar.)
