For Roma, it's just Spadone, or Spada a due mani. "Spadone a due mani" is redundant.

For Littorio, her weapon is better called a Roncone.

The author seems to have quoted the master "Lovino's" writing. You're right in modern Italian, but that's whay they used to call it in those days. For instance, Marozzo calls them as "Spada da due mane" And "Roncha"
