aside from that, it's a AK74 heavily modified with rail
magpul MOE stock + cheek riser + AFG
the flash light using surefire KM3
noveske KFH muzzle brake / flash hider
the optic should be aimpoint T2 w/ Scalarworks LEAP
the rail cover should be xtm rail covers

The grip looks solid to me, with an AFG that that's how i'd do it. You're definitely right when it comes to the stock, but the AK's set to semi-auto so i guess it's fine. 5.45 isn't known for it's kick.

the grip is solid yes, but there is other better way to hold, because when you start firing the gun will grind the wall, so the better way will be having 3 fingers griping on the wall and 2 on the gun ;)
