Too bad in the lore Silverash and Pramanix don't have a good relationship since the former forced the latter to become the Priestess of their religion to gain more power in their country. Now the latter no longer speaks with her brother and pretends he isn't there.

In Silverash's profile they mentioned that the vine-bear court (I am assuming this is the religion) was trying to use Pramanix as leverage against Ash to leave their political scene and to give up some resources and stuff
I get that they have a bad relationship now but I feel like it was not Ash's choice that made her the priestess but more like he just did not fight the decision once it was decided
and he did not do it for more power I feel
to me he let them make her the priestess for more protection against his enemies

IIRC, considering it's speculated that Cliffheart's infection with Oripathy was not, in fact, an accident in Silverash's profile... I wouldn't be surprised if that did factor into his decision.
