A lot of people thought this was bait by Devs because today is April Fools. lol
I don't think the devs have ever done anything for April Fools. There was that one year where they tweeted out that they planned on building a 1/1 scale Zuiun, but they ended up actually doing that.
Usugumo is also drawn by shibafu? I thought fubuki -gumo series is drawn by Ayaki (artist of Murakumo)
Gumo isn't even a subclass so i don't see what made you think that.

2 Type II girls is not really every girl, you forgot that Amagiri, Sagiri, Oboro and Sazanami are all Type II too and not drawn by shibafu on top of Ushio and Akebono.

My thoughts, too. Methinks the devs were tired of waiting for Ayaki to flesh out Murakumo's divisionmates, so they might have asked Shibafu to start filling the gaps.
I am waiting for ido to do this joke: The fleets can't find Usugumo everywhere (if this is drop only reward)...only if they know the new cashier at their local Lawson is Usugumo they are looking for, she just comes to homeport by herself lol, and poor abyssal still get beaten up.
