just checked source yep the artist is really spot on the details although the dummy with drool is the other eye cather

IIRC, shouldn't the one running be Springfield, since she's the sniper, and the one looking at Garand should be a Thompson, since she's the commander?

Nope, that should be the M1 Carbine's job, since the runner was equipped with M1A1 version of her.
