Artist Infukun? The art style don't like his regular style and isn't that Infukun left GFL after some incident?
R5's official showcase says that her assigned artist is Infukun, so there shouldn't be any need for skepticism. as for that other question, nobody really knows, its possible he has left, or is still with the company. That "incident" was already resolved internally and thats all you really need to know about it.

I know that incident was already resolved and Infuku left Mica.
I'm always skeptical with believing he left. What happened now? I've been hearing about a lot of supposed friction between him and Mica ever since before the UMPs' Mod 3s dropped. Yes, I'm aware that artists do a lot of work beforehand, but the doomposting has been going on for a long time...
I thought that UMP9's Mod 3 was some sort of last hurrah before he "really" left. Can't forget about the Children's Day skins a little bit before that. Fast forward months later and outta nowhere, we now have this STAR-416 hybrid. Would not be surprised if his next piece of art for GFL drops in the next 2 or 3 months.

It's already has this new gun pack in CN server, only has this art is decent, the rest are not interesting designs with 2~3 guns are lolis.
Its perfectly fine to be skeptical, and ja, the mindless doomposting is garbage. There was never any mention of Infukun leaving MICA, if he did, its none of our business. The ordeal in question is in regards to what happened with the beach fairy during Shattered Connexion which mainly involved Saru who was rightfully upset. During the ordeal Infukun made a questionable comment which implied he didn't work on Nines' MOD3 CG, and some jackass made a pathetic comment saying "Yeah that's why it doesn't look shit" which only made the situation worse, which ended up getting Infukun attacked by both the GFL and AK communities, after a while he apologised for his comment and promised to draw better.
That's it, nothing more. If he actually left, then its understandable, if not, so what? R5's design might've been an old submission or more recent one and there's no real way of knowing if its one or the other.

Infuku know draw at least 3 characters for Arknights and many fanart, and with clashing history between MICA and Yostar, and Lowlight (most AR members's creator) who is one of founders of HyperGryph, pull punch of artists from MICA, and has share holding in Yostar. I don't think Infuku drawing for Arknights while still sitting in MICA unless he become freelancer.
