The commenters on Nico Seiga were wondering about that too, and eventually concluded that it's just a really terrible Batavia pun.

バタビア (batabia) to バタービール (bataabiiru)... Well, it kinda work. Though with less Japanese pronunciation, batabia is very close to Butter Beer, I guess.

Hot Buttered Rum [ American 1650 AD ], yes; and Yak Butter Tea [ Tibetan c 800 AD ? ] but I eschew drinks with wholesome dollops of butter on top.

Butterbeer seems to come from the Harry Potter world --- and the Yanks have gone one better by manufacturing Butterbeer Ice Cream.

She should probably be southern. Despite popular belief in the fandom, I think US Navy ships named after places are considered to be natives of their namesake.

Is not just popular believe, the shipgirls themselves explicitly claim were they were born or raised like Atlanta being born in Brooklyn, Intrepid showing where she spended her life as a museum, Honolulu mentioning being Hawaiianphile because she spend a lot of time in Hawaii and Nevada debunking the fact shipgirls are suppossed to behave like their respective namesakes by replying to you she does know nothing about the state of Nevada aside of the Las Vegas. I would add Honolulu and Brooklyn to the list but Brooklyn has more reasons to act like a Brooklynite than just her name.
