Why are the britons saying this? I know that in Britain the harvest festival is held at that time (it tends to match Canadian Thanksgiving's date), but it's far from being the same thing... It would've made more sense having both Saratogas delivering such an OHKO of a remark, even KC's Saratoga has several lines involving turkey in game.
Zuikaku AL Taihou AL Saratoga KC Houshou AL Shouhou KC
Nagato KC Mutsu KC Warspite KC Hiei AL Haruna KC
Maya KC Choukai AL Furutaka AL Mogami AL Mikuma AL Isuzu KC Abukuma AL
Kamikaze KC Kisaragi KC Ayanami AL Akatsuki AL Ikazuchi AL Inazuma AL Shiratsuyu KC Asashio AL Ooshio AL Michishio AL Yukikaze AL Hamakaze KC Isokaze KC Akashi KC
Total KC:14 AL:16 A minor victory for AL. It's actually really close.

What are the other criterias? I think there are more missing from the list, namely: Isuzu, Natori, Chitose, Chiyoda, Unryuu, Amagi, Taigei, Akitsu-Maru and if you're willing to count NPCs, Mamiya and Irako as well.

It's comparing boob size and nothing else. Also most shipgirls you lists don't even exist in AL, so no comparison there.
Curious, did you stare at the assets or were there official numbers?
I only listed the most obvious ones. Like literally RJ vs Atago level disparity, or when one side is a pre-puberty kid like Akatsuki(KC) or Kisaragi(AL) while their counterpart is not.
For example I'm pretty certain that AL Fubuki's assets are a bit larger than KC Fubuki's, but I still didn't count.

Funny; ya forgot both KC and AL have Ark Royal... XD
It makes sense then, although I still find pretty jarring that the Britons chosen were the royal ones (then again the chances of finding a British ship present in both game is is very slim: Warspite, Ark Royal and Nelson).
Zuikaku is frequently portrayed as a turkey and her in-game line "don't call me a turkey" is widely used as a joke on 4chan and 2chan. This stems from a historical aerial battle during the Battle of the Philippine Sea. Zuikaku (along with other IJN and IJA aircraft) attempted to attack a formation of US ships, but the Japanese forces were ill prepared with obsolete equipment and rookie pilots, and after a series of battles Zuikaku’s air arm was completely eliminated. The Americans who fended off the attacks remarked that the Japanese planes went down so easily that it was like "shooting turkeys". This is the reason why she is so adamant about not eating what is implied to be the Christmas turkey in her Christmas seasonal line.
