I misunderstood her. With her scene about dreams of childhood and her playful attitude, I thought she was being written as the anime cliche "small and exhuberant" childhood friend type, who would be more innocent or carefree about romance.

In a twist, she appears quite knowlegable and rather forward with what she wants.

Speaks her mind, isn't afraid to go for what she wants, and doesn't tease too much without looking like she'll suddenly pull back.
