Also, Rista has a reason why she's attracted to Seiya. But that's a spoiler. Although if you're like four or five episodes in and you're observing Aria's expressions (and not just her boobs) then you might suspect what's going on.
And it's not like she's completely useless. She's just useless to THIS PARTICULAR hero.
