Because the B-52 is one of the few weapon platforms that can carry a nuclear payload. It's the only way to be sure... :D

For when the 105mm, 40mm, and 20mm shells of the AC-130 are not enough,obviously (of course I assume they'd try the HueyCobra first?). And just imagine the size of the tear gas bomb it can drop :D COMPLIANCE! in capital letters.

Rifle is an H&K G36, the machine gun . . . is that an M249?

The HK G36 looks to be the G36K variant, except the barrel's too short. The G36C has the same barrel length, but the carry handle's different since the C variant did away with the old type carry handle and just replaced it with a rail system. The G36KV variant is the closest fit (plus, it's an export model so it makes sense here), but I guess they swapped the standard fixed stock for the C variant's folding stock.

The machine gun looks suspiciously like the MG36E variant (what with the telltale MG36 carry handle design and all), except they don't come with the second set of carry handle.

This really feels like the artist took quite a bit of liberties with the guns.

Edit: On second though, the machine gun looks like a cross between the M249 SAW with a G36 carry handle/integrated sights attached to the top.

I'm just waiting for a Kirov BCGN and Su-24/24/33/34 to show up, followed by a bunch of T-80s and a Tu-95.

The LMG is most likely an H&K MG4. While a G36C with the carry handle of a standard G36 isn't impossible.
