The bass is weird, but Mio has always been a left-handed player. Go look at the ending animation; it's clear enough there.

Moreover, why is she using a less worthy bass? Yamaha basses are down the scale in quality from Fender and Tung basses (My favorite being the Tung Wingbass II Hybrid that John Myung uses).
